Let’s Get Charged Up About Battery Recycling!
From household appliances to cordless tools, remote controls, toys and other portable electronics, batteries help power our world.
But what happens when batteries fade, or can no longer be re-charged?
Each year millions of batteries end up in landfills, where toxic metals could harm our environment. Morguard, this centre and our partner Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! are on a mission to collect your used batteries and responsibly recycle them.
From October 1 to 31, drop off your used batteries in our Recycle Your Batteries! Canada battery recycling bins located next to the Info-Centre and be part of the change! 🔋Last year our battery collection program converted over 688 KG of used batteries from the landfills! Let's beat that number this year!
