Sunrise Record Store is a Canadian retail chain specializing in the sale of CDs/DVDs/Vinyls and is looking for a motivated individual to join our team in the role of Store Manager!
The Store Manager is responsible for supervising, mentoring and training sales associates. All team members are responsible for providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience by sharing excellent product knowledge, passion for the products and friendly service at all times. The Store Manager must strive to exceed the sales goals of the store and must also sell and present products in a creative and engaging manner to customers. In addition, this person should be able to lead his or her work team with a positive, professional and collaborative approach.
We are looking for someone who wants to work in a hip, stimulating, fun, dynamic environment and of course has an infectious passion for music, movies, toys and games.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, as well as managing a team of retail salespeople. The ideal candidate will also have a friendly, energetic and open-minded personality. He/she must also be committed to providing exceptional customer service at all times in order to be successful in this role. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work as a team player in a busy environment, in addition to possessing strong communication skills. Strong leadership skills focused on motivating the work team are also essential for this position.
