Announcing a new set for the Star Wars™: Unlimited trading card game is always a nice moment. Since the beginning of the game, each set has been carefully developed around a specific theme from the Star Wars galaxy, whether it's the Outer Rim for Shadows of the Galaxy, the Clone Wars for Twilight of the Republic, or the epic space battles for Light Shift. Now, as the curtain rises on our next set, it's time to focus on the Force itself.
Welcome to the first official preview of Legends of the Force, the next set for Star Wars: Unlimited! The Force was taken into account from the outset in the design of the game. Units that possessed the Strength trait, such as Luke Skywalker (Spark of Rebellion, 51) and Darth Vader (Spark of Rebellion, 87), could unlock the additional abilities of other cards, such as Jedi Lightsaber (Spark of Rebellion, 54) or Force Projection (Spark of Rebellion, 167). The Republic Twilight set introduced many Jedi and Sith characters to the game, further expanding the list of units that can use these Force-related cards. Now, with Legends of the Force, the Force and its users are front and center, culminating in a new keyword and a brand new mechanic: the Force token!
