In 2023, the FDA and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) both updated their guidelines to include goat milk as an acceptable base for infant formula. Goat milk alone is not suitable for infants because it doesn’t contain all the nutrients babies need. Is Kabrita approved by Health Canada? Kabrita Goat Milk-Based Infant Formula is reviewed and accepted by  Health Canada under the Interim policy on the importation and sale of infant formulas through 2027. We are working with Health Canada to receive long-term approval for our infant formula. Why does Kabrita use goat milk in their formula? We chose goat milk as the base for our formula because it’s naturally closer in composition to breastmilk than cow milk. Goat milk contains primarily A2 proteins, just like breast milk. These proteins are easier to digest than cow milk, making goat milk a more comfortable option for babies. CONTAINS: MILK Preparation1. Wash your hands, and clean the bottle with hot, soapy water. 2. Fill the bottle with the desired amount of warm water, ideally boiled water that has cooled to 40 C (104 F). 3. Using the enclosed scoop, add 1 scoop of formula for each 30 mL of water. 4. Cap the bottle and shake or swirl until powder is dissolved. 5. After feeding your baby, throw away any unused formula.
