A First Book of Latin Music

From the ancient Spanish ballad "Roman Castillo" to "La Paloma," "El Choclo," "La Cumparista," and other tango tunes, this beginner's compilation abounds in zesty, traditional music. More than two dozen simplified renditions of beloved songs also include "La Cintura," an Ecuadorian folksong; the ever-popular "La Cucaracha"; the Mexican hat dance; and songs such as "La Golondrina," "Cielito Lindo," and "Las Mañanitas."
