Memoir by Deborah Kigjugalik Webster, who wrote Akilak’s Adventure (Inhabit Media); Deborah grew up in Baker Lake. Illustrator is from Vancouver and is Metis. She currently lives in Washington. She illustrated the award-winning children’s book “The Sockeye Mother” (written by Brett Huson) and the graphic novel “Surviving the City” (both published by Portage & Main).
