For best results, use the entire package within three months of purchase. For extended storage, refrigerate or freeze. Storing with or near human food is not recommended. For best results, put Vibrant Life Blue Jay and Cardinal food on a large hopper or tube feeder situated 6"-12" (15-30 cm) off the ground. These types of feeders are available commercially, or you can construct your own. Other types of commercially available feeders are available as well. An alternative to this method is to ground feed, however this method is not as effective during the winter months in areas that receive snow.
