Touch is Really Strange

There has been a clear shift in the science, with research showing that bodywork changes local tissue dynamics primarily by supporting a safe meaningful stimulus to the whole person. When conscious and unconscious perceptions of danger are reduced, protective reflexes are switched off to optimise tissue tone, inflammation and blood flow. We don't touch parts of people, we touch people.
