The Ledge

This book explores adjusting to life-changing trauma (injury or loss of loved ones) and the importance of acceptance. The timely topic of refugees fleeing from war-torn parts of the world and our responsibility to them is an element of the book as well.   The author has been surfing for over fifty years and works with the physically challenged.  The author’s daughter works with refugee teens trying to adapt to living in a new country, and that experience has informed this story.
