It is here we build the foundation for the temple of the body, which anchors the Rainbow Bridge. #4 The first chakra is the foundation of consciousness, and it is the underlying element of the instinct to survive. When threats are frequent, then consciousness becomes fixated at this level. This keeps the body in a state of hyperstimulated readiness, flooded with stress hormones that promote the fight-or-flight response.
