In collaboration with elite Spanish board manufacturer Pukas and Coruña-based surf brand Vazva, Pierpaolo Piccioli has designed his first surfboard. While technically durable enough to withstand the strongest waves, it's also a work of art finished in a satin pink that channels the radical romanticism of Piccioli's fashion vision. It features a poem by Portuguese writer Fernando Pessoa as a tribute to the space of calm and introspection Piccioli finds in the sea. As much a sculpture as it is for use in the water, the PPP board is both a vessel for the kinetic thrill of surfing and a meditation on the marine sanctuary of stillness, beauty, and solitude.
