Pickpocket

In Pickpocket, a teenage boy is sent to France where he meets a budding criminal.  The book is set in a touristy coastal town in the south of France.  The book explores themes of grief, exploitation and redemption.  The author has several successful hi-lo titles with Orca, including Unity Club and Vanish.  The setting makes for an exciting backdrop for this fast-paced international thriller.
