The sheen depends on the paper and writing instrument you use, and you will experience different levels of sheen.
The mesmerizing effect works best on smooth, non-absorbent paper. Wherever your writing instrument releases a lot of ink, the metallic sheen is created.
To enjoy the sheen effect in all its splendor, we recommend high-quality, non-absorbent writing paper and fountain pens with a generous ink flow and a broad nib. The effect is particularly striking when writing with a glass nib, calligraphy fountain pen or refillable brush pen.
Use absorbent paper to bring out only the base color without shine.
The inks are water-soluble and, due to their composition, dry more slowly than conventional inks. Only vegan ingredients are used in the production of Sheen Inks.
Octopus Sheen inks should be shaken before use.
