MARY KILLS PEOPLE is an edgy, compelling drama with comedic elements set against the morally-grey, illegal world of assisted suicide. Following the exploits of Dr. Mary Harris, we watch as Mary (with the assistance of her sidekick Dr. Manny Menendez) balances the needs of her family and day job with her illicit work helping terminally ill patients die, all while watching the police close in around her. As Mary becomes more entangled in the lives of her patients, she perpetually skirts blurry ethical lines in her effort to "do the right thing." Throughout, Manny's addiction to pentobarbital (the death drug) intensifies, threatening their business and their lives; alliances are broken and relationships begin to fracture. And while Mary deceives those around her-absorbed in her own crusade-she is unaware that each one of her family members holds a dark secret of their own.
