Little Narwhal, Not Alone

Based on real events: Inspired by the true story of a young narwhal whale who was ‘adopted’ by a pod of beluga whales in the St. Lawrence River.  Social skill-set: A touching story that helps kids learn about values like friendship, acceptance, and the importance of compassion and empathy.  Includes informative facts about narwhal whales and beluga whales from a marine biologist, Dr. Marie Noël, Research Manager of the Ocean Pollution Research Program at Ocean Wise, a not-for-profit organization whose vision is a world in which oceans are healthy and flourishing.
