Iphigenia premiered in January 2019 at Aki Studio in a production by Saga Collectif in Toronto; Antigone premiered in April 2019 at Young People’s Theatre in Toronto.Iphigenia and the Furies (On Taurian Land) will be remounted by Theatre Passe Muraille in 2022.Jeff was tired of BIPOC artists being relegated to solely performing in Classic plays, so he wanted to write diverse adaptations that can co-exist in the canon but still live as new plays.
