This is the third of four books to come out in the Charlie’s Rules series, following Pasture Bedtime and Ruff Day; the next is due out in Winter 2023. Hush, Puppy is an excellent primer for learning how to read people’s emotions and react accordingly. The book is full of real-life animal stories, and the author has consulted with a veterinarian to make sure the stories are accurate. Sigmund Brouwer is well-known to teachers and librarians, and his Orca Echoes books are bestsellers within the series.
