The body is made of grenadilla wood, the trim are platinum plated.
The clip is equipped with a spring to help it movements.
The fountain pen is equipped with a practical cartridge/converter system and a bicoloured 18-carat gold nib with iridium tip. Manufacturing such a nib is an elaborate process involving over a hundred steps, most of them carried out by hand. Each nib is then 'run in' by hand.
