Experiences of a Country Girl is a painful, intriguing account of dastardly doings in the backwoods of America, told by the girl herself.

The author, Lucille by name, is the voluptuous 19-year-old daughter of a poor farmer. Papa is desperately in need of money and, to raise capital, he "sells" his daughter to their next-door neighbor, Mr. Raleigh, a wealthy young man of bizarre tastes.

The innocent Lucille is exposed to the wiles of her master in brutal fashion. Without so much as a by-your-leave, Raleigh totally dominates his young charge and introduces her into his most unusual household. The addition of the unwilling young belle creates a menage a quatre, with Raleigh as the focal point of a group that also includes two winsome and willing young servant girls.

Under the supple birches of the primitive forests Lucille comes to taste the lash of life.
