Design Like Nature

Offers positive nature-inspired solutions to current environmental problems, like climate change and pollution. Showcases STEAM-themed inventions from designers, engineers and scientists around the world, including inspiring kid-designs. Timely, given current news coverage of kid activists such as Greta Thunberg and Autumn Peltier. Biomimicry as a practice has only been around since the 1990s. There is now an annual Biomimicry Youth Design Challenge hosted by the Biomimicry Institute, where young people from all over come to design bio-inspired ideas as solutions to the climate crisis.
