It’s a space for artists to “navigate through the emotions of their creative journey”. Kern Carter was a teenage parent and now has sole custody of his 18-year-old daughter. He drew from this experience to write Boys and Girls Screaming. He dropped out of high school, but eventually graduated through night school. He’s been a full-time freelance writer since 2014.
