Blood Sport

Jason joins a boxing club to investigate his sister’s suspicious death.   This book explores themes of being true to yourself and the nature of family.  This is a #ownvoices story about a trans man deliberately entering the traditionally hyper-masculine world of boxing.  The author is trans and writes fast-paced, plot-centric action adventures with diverse casts, the books that they wanted to read as a queer kid and young adult. Their debut series, The Psionics, is published by NineStar Press.  The author has boxed competitively and has lived in East Vancouver for five years, working extensively with queer at-risk youth.
