A Smile

A modern translation of the poem “Un sourire” (“A Smile”) by Raoul Follereau, which celebrates the power of a smile—something that costs nothing but provides so much value to the recipient. In the illustrations, two children are bursting with enthusiasm as they travel to a bakery and then their school to stage a surprise birthday party for a teacher. Along the way, their positive energy inspires strangers to help one another.
